Oracle Fusion/HCM Functional Lead

Job Summary :We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Lead with deep expertise in Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess 6 years of experience in HCM, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end HCM implementations, particularly in the Oracle HCM Cloud environment. This role will be instrumental in driving successful OTL implementations, providing expert functional guidance, and ensuring seamless integration with other HCM modules.

The candidate will be a client-facing leader, possessing strong communication and problem-solving skills, and will contribute significantly to the delivery of high-quality solutions. Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) modules.
• Provide expert-level knowledge of OTL functionalities, including time entry, time rules, approvals, integration with payroll, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain detailed functional design documents and configuration workbooks for OTL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex OTL issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Lead and participate in full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, with a minimum of 7 end-to-end implementations, including at least 4 in HCM Cloud.
• Guide clients through the hire-to-retire cycle, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops, design sessions, and testing activities.
• Provide functional expertise across various HCM modules, with a strong focus on OTL.
• Serve as the primary functional point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead client workshops and presentations, demonstrating product capabilities and providing expert guidance.
• Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' business processes and translate them into effective Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
• Analyze and document data flows, ensuring data integrity and consistency across HCM modules.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Provide functional leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and provide status updates to the Project Manager.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of complex functional issues/problems.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of system configurations.
• Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
• Be open to domestic and international travel for short and long durations as required.

Skills and Qualifications :

• 6 years of experience in Oracle HCM implementations, with a strong focus on Oracle Time & Labor (OTL).
• Proven experience leading at least 7 end-to-end HCM implementations, including at least 4 in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) functional modules.
• In-depth understanding of HCM Cloud business processes and data flows.
• Strong client-facing experience, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
