Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and hydraulic flow calculations for STP/ETP/WTP etc.
  • Develop detailed plant layout drawings including necessary sections and puddle flange details.
  • Prepare fabrication drawings for MS/SS tanks, vessels, etc., to be submitted for manufacturing.
  • Perform all given task under the guidance of the Project Manager and coordinate/report for all technical deliverables.
  • Select appropriate treatment technologies based on influent characteristics and client-specific requirements.
  • Create General Arrangement (GA) drawings, piping layouts, and civil interface drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
  • Perform mass balance, sizing, and process calculations for STP/ETP/WTP systems.
  • Prepare detailed design reports, technical datasheets, and equipment specifications.
  • Assist in the selection and specification of pumps, blowers, membranes, filters, tanks, etc.
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients and consultants along with the Project Manager to present and justify the design.
  • Provide design support during the execution phase and address related site queries.
  • Assist in design reviews and ensure compliance with approval processes.
  • Identify and recommend cost optimization opportunities without compromising on quality or functionality.
  • Execute assigned tasks in accordance with established company procedures and guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Candidates with hands-on experience in AutoCAD are preferred. AutoCAD Draftsmen may also apply.
