DevOpsEngineerLocation:PuneJobDescription: In This Role, You WillPerform on -going production operations, support, and maintenance of the Azure Data Platform Ensure Data platform (Data at Rest/Transport/Use) security and resiliency through the implementation of operational and security best practices and procedures Develop monitoring tools, dashboards, and processes to effectively monitor and support the data platform Maintain high level of uptime and optimal performance for production databases within the data platform Standup, configure, and support Cloud Data environments to meet GDPR requirements Work with Engineering and QA to perform Root Cause Analysis of database (Relational and Non -Relational) performance issues as well as issues relating to data quality Develop, maintain, and optimize Azure SQL Database; functions, stored procedures, tables, and views Develop data pipelines and integration processes utilizing such tools as Azure Data Factory, event hubs, logic apps, functions, service bus queues, stream analytics, and Azure Data Lakes Work with Data/Application engineers to implement new features, investigate issues, perform maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot slow running queries generated by Entity Framework Working with and designing automation solutions at scaleRelease engineering (Branching, versioning, tagging, source control event hooks) Build tools to allow for continuous integration and developmentDevOps security model so that security is automated and elastic across all platforms Stay up to date on Microsoft enhancements/advances to the Azure cloud data platformPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Science with 5+ relevant work experience.Experience with Azure based technologies Experience with source control and build/deployment pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Github, Gitlab, Azure DevOps) Experience with automating pipelines using build authoring tools (e.g. Groovy, YAML) Experience with Container Orchestration/Virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm or Mesos) Experience with secure storage (e.g. Azure KeyVault, Key Management Services) Experience working with non -relational data storage solutions (e.g. Cosmos, Blob, MongoDb) Experience tuning large MS SQL data repositories (Azure SQL DB and Synapse preferred) In -Depth OS Experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server) Strong experience with resilience and performance testing environment set -up & management Working experience in an Agile environment and can work with at least one of the common frameworks Understand front -end technologies (e.g. Angular, Vue) Understand code scanning tools (e.g. Greenlight by Veracode) Understand software development patterns and practices (e.g. TDD, DDD) Understanding of core concepts for Public/Private/Hybrid clouds (networking, security, identity access management, etc.) Understanding of networking (ports/protocols), firewalls, load balancers and IPS, container security. Preferred Skills:Experience with IoT Solutions Experience working with Azure SQL databases, including advanced SQL, T -SQL, stored procedures, tables, in -memory tables, views, debugging, and query optimization techniques Experience tuning large Azure SQL DB platforms with geolocation Experience working with Azure Data Lakes in a production environment Security analytics experienceUnderstanding encryption and the principles/practices behind it
