Sr. DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities: ● Support Operations with expertise to maintain Coupa Cloud Database reliability, performance, scalability, and security. ● Uphold Coupa Cloud standards through automation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. ● Design, implement, and manage database reliability engineering practices for cloud -based environments. ● Automate database provisioning, scaling, backup, and recovery processes. ● Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. ● Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for database environments using tools like Terraform. ● Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate database management into CI/CD pipelines RequirementsRequirements: ● Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience ● 4+ years of programming experience using Ruby, Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent. ● Hands -on experience with cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent. ● Knowledge/Experience with GitHub actions/workflows ● Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent. ● Solid understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC). ● Experience with RDBMS databases like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. ● Familiarity with software build and release tools such as Jenkins, Rundeck, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. ● Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, or equivalent. ● Experience with Unit and Integration Testing. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
