One who is willing to take the challenges of our rapid exponential growth of infrastructure and stack head on.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing DevOps infrastructure that handles all traffic across MyySport's services at scale. You will work on building DevOps automations and improving DevOps discipline across our teams as we grow and scale the platforms and services.RequirementsWhat you will doBuilding and setting up new development tools and infrastructureDesign, develop, monitor and support solutions which facilitate ease of service deployment, services scalability, availability and operationsWork collaboratively with the Platform Lead, Engineering squads, and Product Management to resolve complex operational issuesInvestigate best practices and tools, designing a strategy and conveying this to developersWorking on ways to automate and improve development and release processesTesting and examining code written by others, analyzing results and ensuring best practicesEnsuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threatsWorking with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intendedCreating scalable IaC backed systems that can scale to handle our explosive growth.Desired SkillsMinimum 3 yrs of DevOps experienceDeep down knowledge of KubernetesHands -on experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP or private cloud environments.Strong experience in Container Technologies (Docker/ Kubernetes) and in containerizing applications.Monitoring concepts to be very strong, should have experience with ELK stack, Prometheus and Grafana etc.Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Centos and RHEL)System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.Proficiency in any programming or scripting language such as Shell Script, Python or Golang.Experience with infrastructure -as -code (e.g. Terraform)Experience with continuous integration, unit and integration testingExperience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDBAbility to work independently with minimal direction; self -starter/self -motivated
