Position Overview

The Accounts Executive will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and supporting project-level financial operations. This role requires hands-on experience in construction-related accounting, vendor management, and coordination with site and head office teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, data entry, and record-keeping.

  • Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, purchase orders, and payment records.

  • Manage vendor bills, petty cash, and site expense tracking.

  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and project expenditures.

  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings under the supervision of senior accounts staff.

  • Support monthly closing, journal entries, and reporting.

  • Coordinate with project managers for expense verification and budget tracking.

  • Maintain digital and physical documentation for audits and compliance.



Requirements Required Skills

  • Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.

  • Experience with Tally ERP or similar accounting software.

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation processes.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting or Finance.

  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting within the construction or contracting industry preferred.
