Role Overview:

We are looking for a Vendor Development Engineer with experience in machining components to handle sourcing, vendor evaluation, and development activities to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for machining components.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Coordinate vendor audits, capacity assessment, and technical capability checks.
  • Work with vendors on process improvements, cost reduction, and timely delivery.
  • Resolve quality and supply chain issues in coordination with internal teams.
  • Maintain vendor performance records and ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in vendor development for machining components.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, tolerances, and quality requirements.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to travel for vendor visits and audits.
