Who we need?

  • Design Engineer
  • A Design Engineer is responsible for the duties and maintenance of the engineering department.
  • A Design Engineer carry out various responsibilities including design, prototyping, research, documentation & process improvement.

What will a Design Engineer do?

  • Research about upcoming products/materials/machinery to improve the overall strength of the company.
  • Check tolerances, dimensions, and fabrication feasibility of designs and work with engineers to resolve problems.
  • Design and implements

New Product Developments (NPD).

  • Document designs and provide associated drawings that meet project specifications.
  • Adjust current drawings and recommend changes based on their understanding and knowledge of the project.
  • Design and draft CAD (computer-aided design) drawings.
  • Work closely with the SolidWorks/AutoCAD, project managers, and project engineers to make sure that the design is precise.
  • Implement a product's installation instruction as per the project requirements.
  • Accountable for the maintenance of the CAD drawing library.
  • Aid in increasing and maintaining quality assurance processes.
  • Prepare presentation materials using SolidWorks/AutoCAD design software.
  • Review and interpret client specifications.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial design or a related field.
  • Minimum hands-on experience of 3
  • 5 years in the related field.
  • Work experience in a Manufacturing Industry would an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with design & engineering softwares
  • SolidWorks & AutoCad is a must.
  • Thorough knowledge of desktop operating systems.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office
  • Excel is a must.
  • Attention to details, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
