Shift Incharge – Aqua Feed Plant

Location: Aqua Feed Manufacturing Unit

Industry: Aqua Feed / Feed Manufacturing

Experience: 3–6 years (preferred)

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Production) or relevant experience

Role Overview

We are looking for a Shift Incharge to manage production activities during the assigned shift at our Aqua Feed Plant. The role involves supervising manpower, ensuring smooth machine operations, maintaining quality standards, and achieving daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and supervise Aqua Feed Extruder during the shift
  • Ensure correct extruder parameters (temperature, pressure, moisture, RPM)
  • Monitor feed quality (floating/sinking, expansion, durability)
  • Perform routine maintenance and first-level troubleshooting of extruder
  • Coordinate with Maintenance team for preventive & breakdown maintenance
  • Supervise grinding, mixing, extrusion, drying, cooling, and packing activities
  • Manage shift manpower, allocation of duties, and discipline
  • Achieve daily production targets with minimal downtime
  • Control raw material usage and reduce wastage
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, SOPs, and 5S standards
  • Maintain shift-wise production, downtime, and maintenance records

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in Aqua Feed / Pellet / Extrusion plant preferred
  • Knowledge of production processes and machinery
  • Ability to handle shop-floor workers and contractors
  • Basic knowledge of quality, safety, and 5S practices
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹45,000.00 per month
