About the Role:

Department: Research & Development

Designation: R&D Executive

Reporting To: R&D Manager / Head – R&D

Key Responsibilities

 Independently handle formulation, development, and optimization of skincare and

cosmetic products.

 Lead lab trials for creams, lotions, serums, gels, cleansers, and other skincare formats.

 Conduct and interpret stability, compatibility, and performance testing.

 Coordinate with raw material vendors for ingredient sourcing, samples, and technical

documentation.

 Liaise with third-party laboratories for product testing and validations.

 Prepare, review, and maintain formulation dossiers, SOPs, and R&D documentation.

 Support scale-up and pilot batch trials; provide technical input during production runs.

 Troubleshoot formulation, quality, and process-related issues during development and

manufacturing.

 Work closely with Quality, Production, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with

cosmetic standards.

 Stay updated on new cosmetic ingredients, trends, and regulatory changes in skincare.

Skills & Competencies

 Strong hands-on experience in cosmetic and skincare formulations.

 In-depth knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, actives, preservatives, and emulsifiers.

 Good understanding of stability protocols, GMP, and quality standards.

 Excellent vendor coordination and cross-functional communication skills.

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification

 B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Experience

 4–5 years of relevant experience in cosmetic R&D, preferably with skincare products.
