Urgent Hiring : Car Bodyshop / Service Advisor
Job Summary
The Car Bodyshop / Service Advisor is the key contact between customers, insurance companies, and the workshop team. The role involves assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates, coordinating repairs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Handling & Service
- Greet and assist customers, understanding their vehicle damage concerns.
- Explain repair processes, cost estimates, and timelines clearly.
- Provide regular updates during the repair process.
2. Vehicle Damage Assessment & Estimation
- Inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, structural, and paint damage.
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, and parts.
- Take photographs for records and insurance claims.
3. Insurance Coordination
- Liaise with insurance companies for approvals and claim settlements.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
4. Workshop Coordination & Quality Control
- Allocate work to technicians and painters.
- Track repair progress to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct quality checks before delivery.
5. Delivery & Follow-up
- Confirm delivery timelines with customers.
- Handle post-repair concerns or rework if required.
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 5 to 13 years of experience as a Bodyshop Advisor / Service Advisor.
- Knowledge of body repair, painting, and insurance claim processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate effectively.
