Role : OS Administrator. Mandatory Skills : CIS, Operating Systems, Azure Cloud, Linux, VMWare, RedHat. Experience : 5+ Years. Locations : Bangalore. Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days. Responsibilities :

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and security hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating system related issues.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
  • Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines.
  • Perform virtual machine migrations and resource allocation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization related issues.
  • Manage and maintain Azure Virtual Machines and related services.
  • Deploy and configure Azure resources using Azure Portal and CLI.
  • Implement and manage Azure security best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures based on CIS benchmarks.
  • Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Implement and manage access controls and user permissions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating system administration tasks.
  • Utilize configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet) to automate system configuration.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, security, and availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Collaborate with developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills and Expertise :

  • Strong experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in VMware vSphere management.
  • Experience with virtual machine deployment, configuration, and management.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines.
  • Knowledge of Azure networking and security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of CIS benchmarks and security hardening techniques.
  • Experience with security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an OS Administrator.
