Job Title : Company Secretary
Experience : 3-5 Years
Location : Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage company secretarial compliances including board meetings, AGM/EGM, statutory registers, resolutions, and annual filings.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI regulations and update management on relevant amendments.
- Review and verify statutory financials, contracts, and engagement letters.
- Liaise with legal teams and external authorities for compliance matters.
- Support Finance function in statutory audit, banking, and management accounting.
- Deliver timely and accurate filings with ROC/MCA/RBI and ensure no lapses in compliance.
Requisites
- Company Secretary (CS) certification with membership of ICSI.
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act, FEMA, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in board processes, ROC filings, and statutory records management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (Navision preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English (other languages a plus).
- Ability to perform under high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
