Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Python Backend Engineer
to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of server-side technologies, data modeling, and system architecture, with a passion for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    RESTful APIs
    and backend services using
    Python frameworks
    (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
  • Collaborate with
    Frontend Developers, DevOps, and QA teams
    to deliver robust, high-quality software solutions.
  • Optimize application
    performance, scalability, and security
    .
  • Design efficient
    database schemas
    and write complex queries for
    relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
    and
    NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
    databases.
  • Integrate
    third-party APIs and services
    as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Implement
    best practices
    for code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Participate in
    code reviews
    , contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology
    , or related field.
  • 4–5 years of
    hands-on experience
    in backend development using Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
  • Strong expertise in building
    scalable, secure RESTful APIs
    and
    microservices
    .
  • Proficiency with databases —
    MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
    .
  • Experience with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with
    containerization and orchestration
    tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Good understanding of
    CI/CD pipelines
    , version control systems (Git), and
    Agile/Scrum methodologies
    .
  • Strong

    and
    analytical
    skills.

    abilities.
