Role description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of experience in backend development using Python, and a solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Architect scalable microservices-based solutions for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers (React), DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integrate third-party services, databases, and cloud-native components.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevSecOps best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
  • Exposure to React or ability to collaborate with frontend teams effectively.
