Job Description Power BI / SQL Developer

About the Role

Youll design, develop, and optimize data-driven solutions and reports that support business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports using SQL datasets.
  • Create ad-hoc, drill-down, parameterized, and tabular reports in Power BI and SSRS.
  • Perform data modeling (Star/Snowflake), data cleaning, and analysis using DAX.
  • Optimize SQL Server performance, tune T-SQL queries, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Design and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
  • Develop and deploy SSIS packages and manage report subscriptions and automations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional POD teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and SSIS.
  • Experience in data warehousing, RDBMS, and data modeling (relational/dimensional).
  • Understanding of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

  • 4+years in software or data development.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Stack (APIM, Functions, scalable apps).
  • Exposure to wealth management systems or multi-tenant applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
