Location: Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai

Work Arrangement: Onsite

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine/Plant Operator for our Blending Plant at Taloja MIDC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing Production including Batch preparation plus operating Process & Packaging equipment in Plants related to Life Sciences (Food/Pharma/Cosmetics) &/or Chemicals based operations. The role requires technical proficiency, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a quality conscious production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weigh & prepare Batches as per formulations from the Raw Materials & Ingredients,
  • Set-up & operate equipment involved in blending, sieving, packaging & labeling
  • Perform setup, adjustment, cleaning, and minor maintenance of the Production related equipment.
  • Handle materials and load raw ingredients into blending tanks or packaging machines as per batch instructions.
  • Ensure accurate filling, weighing, labelling, and sealing of containers, drums, or totes.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
  • Monitor process parameters and report any deviations or abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate production and batch records as per company and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools and specific plant machinery safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools and plant-specific machinery and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of production and safety protocols.

  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting equipment and preventive maintenance.

  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Job Requirements

  • Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Plant Operations or related Machinery/Production discipline.
  • Experience: 4–5 years of experience in a Life Sciences or Chemical industry, preferably in operations involving blending, filtration, sieving or packaging type operations.
