  • Operating and Monitoring:

Operating PVD coating machines and vacuum chambers, ensuring all process parameters (temperature, pressure, deposition rate) are maintained at optimal levels.
- Preparation and Handling:

Preparing, loading, and unloading substrates or parts into the machine, which often involves meticulous cleaning processes to ensure proper coating adhesion.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of the equipment. They collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on more complex issues.
- Quality Control:

Inspecting coated parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications, which often involves following strict process inspection procedures.
- Documentation:

Maintaining accurate production records, logs, and other required documentation.
- Safety and Collaboration:

Following strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines and collaborating with other teams to meet production targets and improve efficiency.

Minimum Experience: -

The minimum experience required for a PVD machine operator position is typically 
0 to 3 years

in a manufacturing or machine operation environment. Some entry-level "coating machine operator" or "machine operator" positions may accept freshers with a relevant technical diploma or ITI certificate, often providing on-the-job training. More specialized PVD roles or those involving complex equipment may require a minimum of 2+ years of specific experience.
