We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP - Business Continuity and Incident Management
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a robust BCIM Program for Tech Centre India under the span with effective implementation of Operating Instruction and framework documents on continuity, de-risking, recovery desking, BIA, contingency plans, exercising, etc. Promote Business resilience.
Raise the profile of the department by engaging with key stakeholders to understand the challenges faced and anticipate emerging risks.
Ensure self-growth to improve quality of productivity and contribute towards the teams' growth. Promote Competency development of team.
To establish a robust contingency plan covering all functions, ensuring the overall risk is minimized in the event of an incident having a major impact on the operating environment.
Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating instructions and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology. This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring. Also, by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department.
Adherence to all internal controls including relevant operating instructions, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators is a key.
Work as Incident Management lead and provide support as required.
Mitigation of concentration risk through adherence to HTs BCIM operating instruction and de-risking of existing concentration hot spots.
Engagement with business service teams to provide functional support whenever / wherever required.
Management Information Reporting on various regional/business dashboards.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or demonstrable experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISM, CISA) preferred.
- 10 years in Operations / IT or any other risk function with at least 3 years in a team management role.
- Certification Recommended / Preferred: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent, CPBCM (Certified Professional in BCM) from DRII, Certified Business Continuity (CBCI) or equivalent from BCI.
- Experience gained in the financial services industry including experience of people and process management.
- BCIM teams define and implement standards for both business continuity management and incident management which are designed to enable the Bank to respond effectively in mitigating the impacts of any business disruption or major incident
