We are a fast-growing interior design and modular furniture brand committed to delivering factory-finished, time-efficient, and high-quality home interiors. We're now looking for a sharp, resourceful Procurement Manager who can take charge of vendor management, material sourcing, cost optimization, and innovation in materials and finishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Identification & Management

  • Identify and onboard new suppliers for hardware, boards, laminates, acrylics, glass, plywood, and accessories.

  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and build alternate sourcing channels for critical materials.

  • Rate Negotiation & Cost Optimization

  • Benchmark and negotiate competitive rates across all material categories (modular furniture, site-related items, soft furnishings, etc.).

  • Analyze trends and pricing data to ensure margin protection and profitability.

  • Material Innovation

  • Research and introduce new finishes, surface materials, hardware systems, and eco-friendly options suitable for premium modular furniture.

  • Work with design and manufacturing teams to test and integrate new materials into production.

  • Procurement Planning

  • Forecast material requirements based on project pipeline and manufacturing demand.

  • Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure timely procurement and inventory management.

  • Documentation & Compliance

  • Oversee POs, GRNs, quality checks, and payment schedules.

  • Ensure adherence to procurement processes, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement for interior design firms, modular furniture manufacturers, or related industries.
  • Deep knowledge of modular materials: laminates, MDF, plywood, hinges, channels, glass, soft-close systems, etc.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work across departments design, factory, installation, and finance.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, ERP tools (Zoho, Tally, or similar), and procurement workflows.
  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and/or Telugu preferred (for local vendor communication).
