Application/Technical Support Specialist – Job Summary

The Application/Technical Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of enterprise-level software applications through proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and technical troubleshooting. Acting as a bridge between IT and business teams, this role supports critical systems, enhances application performance, and drives customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • 24/7 Monitoring: Oversee enterprise applications to detect and resolve outages or errors in real-time.
  • Incident Management: Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack to track and resolve support tickets efficiently.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead RCA efforts to identify and implement long-term solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve application performance and security.
  • Technical Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for application-related issues and vendor coordination.
  • Customer Support: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to ensure high service quality.
  • Network & VoIP Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to TCP/IP, VoIP, MPLS, and PRI services.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze support workflows and implement best practices.
  • Training & Compliance: Lead team training initiatives and ensure IT policies meet industry standards.

Required Skills

  • Experience with enterprise applications and cloud environments (AWS).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, JSON.
  • Understanding of APIs, web services, and basic programming.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of ACD systems and call center setup.
  • Strong grasp of networking and communication protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in application or technical support, with solid knowledge of application architecture and networking.

Pay: ₹11, ₹25,004.77 per month
