About Us
Indian Association for the Blind (IAB) is a 40-year-old NGO based near Madurai, dedicated to empowering visually challenged children and youth through education, training and employment. We are seeking a professional female Admin Manager to manage our front office and donor communications.
Role Summary
The Admin Manager will be the first point of contact for visitors and donors, manage front-office operations, coordinate donor communication, and support event and office administration. This is an on-site role at our campus (5 km from Maatuthavani Bus stand)—candidates must be willing to commute daily or relocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reception, visitor handling and all front-desk activities.
- Serve as primary contact for donors, partners and external stakeholders (phone, email, in-person).
- Maintain timely donor communications: acknowledgements, receipts, follow-ups.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and logistics for events and donor visits.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and confidential documentation.
- Manage office supplies, vendor follow-ups, and basic invoicing support.
- Support internal teams with documentation, travel coordination and on-site logistics.
- Ensure professional, warm, and organized guest experience.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree (any discipline); Business Admin preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in front-office/administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Tamil.
- Strong interpersonal skills, well-presented, professional demeanor.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
- Experience in NGO/donor relations or CSR communication is an advantage.
Must-Haves
- Female candidates only.
- Willingness to commute 5 km from Maatuthavani Busstand daily (or relocate nearer to campus). Please do not apply if you are not comfortable traveling.
