Responsible for establishing and maintaining the risk management and internal control framework


•As part of the second line of defense, supporting the business to become and stay in control by identifying risks, potential control gaps and advising and supporting with process and control improvements.


•Member of global internal control and risk management team of professionals to set up standard guidelines on control and risk management to achieve group objectives.


•As part of the local audit committee, responsible for performing and coordinating audits and investigations locally.

Responsibilities

Promoting and developing an internal control culture and control ownership within all layers of the BU.


•Perform local audits and investigations to align with requirement of management and statutes. Open to travel at least 20% of time for work.


•Developing and implementing a formalized internal control framework aligned to the global business support framework and coordinating semi-annual self assessments.


•Developing and embedding an effective risk management process, leveraging Cj risk management principles.


•Assisting functional owners in their responsibility to understand and monitor the operational risks, thereby protecting the business and complying with internal and external policies and regulations.


•Ensuring monitoring and reporting on segregation of duties (SOD) within the BU.


•Support tracking and ensuring timely follow-up of risk and internal control actions coming from risk assessments, internal control self-assessments, IT self-assessments and internal / external audits.


•Good knowledge of accounting/ERP systems and computer assisted auditing techniques.

Qualifications

Chartered accountant combined with IA/Risk qualification (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, CRISK, and/or CFE).

Experience with a big four accounting firm, manufacturing and/or oil/gas company.


•Working knowledge of SAP.


•Knowledge on lean management
