About the Role Customers from the e-commerce, 3PL, retail, and CEP industries are constantly looking to automate their package sorting operations with flexible and modular systems while keeping their capital expenses under control. The solution engineer is required to interact with customers, understand their requirements, and build suitable solutions using the UnboxSort platform, which meet their requirements. This function also involves being the voice of the customer for internal product teams in terms of new feature development or solution optimization. Every now and then, we will also encourage challenging mathematical modeling, algorithm design, and optimization as a crucial part of the function.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Meeting customers to understand their current processes and requirements.
  • Build Integrated solutions for each client while optimizing the deliverables
  • Work closely with product and technology teams to find solutions for customers' requirements.
  • Design and run simulations to test the feasibility of the designed solutions.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of the data warehouse development from gathering and understanding end-user analytics and reporting needs, architecting the solution, detailing the technical design, implementing the solution, and validating the solution with customers.
  • Building mathematical models to simulate complex system problems and running design of experiments to optimize the output.
  • Building algorithms for multi-agent problems, which are a key part of our offerings.

Requirements:

  • Previous project management experience is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of robotics systems or logistic automations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Great communication skills and ability to interact with international customers.

Good to Have:

  • Understanding and experience of using MATLAB
  • Candidates who have excelled at competitions like Math Olympiads, NTS, or KVPY

Eligible candidates:

  • Desired Qualification:
  • B. Tech in Computer Science/Robotics/Mechatronics or a related field from Tier-1 Institutes OR
  • BSc, MSc in Mathematics from Tier-1 institute
  • Work Experience: 0-2 years of experience
