Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Structure Design Engineer + CAD/SolidWorks Designer based in Pune, with some flexibility for remote work. The role involves creating and optimizing designs for safety-focused products and systems, utilizing technical expertise in CAD tools like SolidWorks. Key responsibilities include developing mechanical and structural engineering designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities also include product development, testing prototypes, and improving designs to meet efficiency and reliability goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design to conceptualize, analyze, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, particularly SolidWorks, for creating detailed blueprints and models.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and Electrical Engineering fundamentals to address multi-disciplinary project needs.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, solve design challenges, and optimize performance and functionality.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills, with attention to detail and precision.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Prior experience in the safety or product design domain is advantageous.
