Requirements

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Financial Aid Specialist to oversee the functionality and compliance of the Financial Aid module within the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system. This role is critical in supporting the accurate processing of financial aid applications, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivering technical support and insights to users across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Administration:
    Manage the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the PeopleSoft Financial Aid module to ensure reliability, compliance, and optimal system performance.
  2. Financial Aid Processing:
    Oversee the complete lifecycle of financial aid processing—including verification, packaging, awarding, and disbursement—ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    Monitor and ensure all financial aid processes are in full compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and guidelines.
  4. User Training & Support:
    Provide functional and technical support to users, including staff and students. Deliver training and create user documentation to improve adoption and efficiency.
  5. Data Analysis & Insights:
    Analyze financial aid data to identify trends, ensure data integrity, and recommend process improvements based on findings.
  6. Reporting & Documentation:
    Develop, generate, and maintain financial aid reports, dashboards, and audit-ready documentation as required by internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Proven experience working with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, with hands-on expertise in the Financial Aid module.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Proficiency in data management and reporting tools

  • Knowledge:
    Thorough understanding of federal and state financial aid regulations and institutional processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a higher education setting or similar student services environment.

  • Advanced skills in SQL, PeopleSoft Query, and reporting tools.
