About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong business development mindset to drive our pre-sales initiatives, proposal creation, and client engagement activities. This role will be the bridge between our solutions team and potential customers, helping translate client needs into compelling proposals and actionable plans. The ideal candidate enjoys networking, understands solution selling, and can work closely with internal teams to position our offerings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proposal & Pre-Sales Support

  • Lead the drafting, structuring, and presentation of project proposals, RFP responses, and capability documents.
  • Work closely with sales and technical teams to craft tailored solution approaches for clients.
  • Develop persuasive sales decks, case studies, and marketing collateral for client presentations.
  • Participate in client calls, demos, and proof-of-concept sessions.

2. Problem Solving & Solution Design

  • Understand the full context of a clients business environment before designing solutions.
  • Identify and analyse stakeholder objectives, key variables, constraints, assumptions, and limitations.
  • Break down complex business challenges into clear problem statements and solution options.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create high-level architectures and implementation approaches aligned with client goals.

3. Networking & Lead Nurturing

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry meet-ups.
  • Follow up on leads from sales campaigns and marketing events to convert them into opportunities.

4. Client Requirement Understanding

  • Conduct initial requirement gathering and needs assessment during the pre-sales phase.
  • Identify key business pain points, decision drivers, and success criteria for each opportunity.
  • Work with technical teams to prepare high-level solution designs aligned with client expectations.

5. Sales Enablement & Coordination

  • Maintain a library of proposal templates, case studies, and sales tools for quick turnaround.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure messaging aligns with client needs and industry trends.
  • Track opportunities, proposals, and client communication in CRM systems.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 25 years in a pre-sales, bid management, business analysis, or client engagement role.
  • Proven experience in drafting and winning business proposals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse multiple factors before making recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of solution selling and consultative sales approaches.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM tools experience (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
