AccountJob Description – Accountant

An Accountant is responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The role ensures the company's finances are accurate, up to date, and compliant with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.

Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).

Handle daily accounting entries and bank reconciliations.

Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.

Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external audits.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Manage petty cash and support payroll processing if required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
