Job Description**
Key areas of responsibility:
- To supervise maintenance & housekeeping staff and provides them with necessary support, technical expertise and guidance.
- To be responsible for the working condition of U.P.S., drainage system, lifts, diesel generator set, boilers, fire safety system, R.O. System, public announcement System & report in case of any problem.
- To ensure that all the diesel generator sets are in working condition.
- To monitor meter readings of H.T. & L.T.
- To ensure that there is uninterrupted electrical supply to the hospital.
- To ensure preventive maintenance as per the schedule.
- To be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of water supply and drainage systems.
- To be responsible for the lighting, Air condition and Electrical D.B.s in the hospital.
- To ensure that the nurse calling systems are in working condition.
- To ensure that log books are well maintained.
- To prepare daily reports and submits to Support Service Manager.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of all facilities in the hospital.
- To maintain appropriate departmental documentation.
- To treat all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially.
- To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
- To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
- Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
