Role & responsibilities

1. ESG Strategy & Implementation

  • Support the development and execution of the Groups ESG roadmap, policies, and objectives.
  • Identify and implement projects to improve ESG performance across operations.
  • Integrate ESG considerations into business decision-making processes

2. Data Management, Compliance & Reporting

Coordinate ESG data collection, validation, and analysis from plants and business units.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable ESG regulations, SEBI BRSR, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and other relevant standards.
  • Prepare ESG reports, disclosures, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support annual sustainability reporting, including alignment with GRI, TCFD, and SDG frameworks.

3. Environmental & Energy Initiatives

Assist in renewable energy projects under OPEX, CAPEX, and Group Captive models.

  • Drive energy efficiency and waste reduction programs across manufacturing locations.

  • Support water conservation, carbon footprint reduction, and other environmental initiatives.

4. Social Responsibility & Governance

Coordinate CSR-related ESG compliance and community engagement initiatives.

  • Assist in developing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

  • Work with HR, procurement, and other teams to embed governance and ethical practices.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with plant ESG coordinators, internal departments, and external consultants/vendors

Preferred candidate profile

  • B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or related discipline)
  • ESG/Sustainability certifications (e.g., GRI, ISO Lead Auditor, Energy Auditor) will be an advantage
  • 48 years of relevant experience in ESG, Sustainability, Environment, or Energy Management (Automotive / Manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in ESG reporting, data management, and compliance

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, BRSR guidelines, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and related standards
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
