We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of iconic, large-scale design and build projects across India. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project execution, stakeholder management, and commercial oversight ensuring quality, safety, timeline, and profitability are upheld on every project.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-profile projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Define project delivery strategies aligned with client expectations, budget constraints, and timelines.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and JV partners.
  • Drive clear communication and alignment between stakeholders, ensuring approvals and decisions are streamlined.
  • Maintain strong relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.
Technical & Execution Oversight:
  • Review and approve project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor design progress, engineering reviews, procurement activities, and construction milestones.
  • Resolve technical issues in coordination with design and engineering heads (e.g., façade, MEP, civil).
Commercial & Contractual Management:
  • Review and manage contracts, variations, claims, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure cost control, billing cycles, and cash flow align with project financial goals.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, and procurement teams for compliance and efficiency.
Team Management & Leadership:
  • Mentor, guide, and evaluate project managers and engineering leads across projects.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, safety, and high performance.

  • Support HR in resource planning and talent development.

Compliance & Quality:
  • Ensure all projects comply with local laws, building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Uphold internal QA/QC systems and HSE procedures across all project phases.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (Masters preferred).
  • 15-25 years of progressive experience in construction/project management, with at least 5+ years in a Director or Senior Project Manager capacity.
  • Proven track record of delivering landmark projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use, or hospitality).
  • Strong knowledge of design-build methodologies, value engineering, and modern construction techniques.
  • Familiarity with Indian and international codes (NBC, IS, ASTM, BS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera (P6), and construction management tools.
Preferred Attributes:

  • PMP or equivalent certification.

  • Experience with international consultants or global standards.

  • Exposure to high-end finishes, bespoke materials, and façade coordination.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and crisis management skills.

  • Willingness to travel and manage multiple sites.
