Job Description

1. Procurement of metal commodities and other raw materials for automobile manufacturing.

2. Vendor management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.

3. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors to achieve cost savings and ensure supply chain stability.

4. Market research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, prices, and availability of metal commodities and raw materials.

5. Cost control: Analyze and optimize procurement costs to ensure alignment with business objectives.

6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production planning, logistics, and quality control.

8. Data analysis: Provide insights and recommendations through data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

- Qualification: BE or Diploma Mechanical, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in the metal commodity or automobile industry.

- Proven track record of successful vendor management and cost reduction initiatives.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

- Proficient in SAP software, specifically in procurement and vendor management modules.
