Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer / Data Solution Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Data Services, Data Modeling, ETL Development, and Advanced SQL, with a proven track record of building and optimizing data integration pipelines and delivering end-to-end analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services.
- Architect and implement data & analytics solutions leveraging Azure Synapse, Databricks, and other modern cloud tools.
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data architecture and reporting solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards across all solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, ensuring smooth and timely project delivery.
- Work independently in a remote setup while coordinating effectively with global teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in data engineering and solution architecture.
- Strong expertise in the Azure Data Ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Databricks, Functions).
- Hands-on experience with ETL development & data integration across heterogeneous sources.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, stored procedures).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling (relational, dimensional, star schema).
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Python/Scala preferred).
- Experience in end-to-end data & analytics solution architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: ₹170, ₹180,000.00 per month
Work Location: Remote
