Business Development Manager

SocialGrade, an AI-driven digital marketing agency, is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager with mandatory experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.
The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, and hospitality operations to identify growth opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive revenue for the company. This role requires strong communication, confidence in client interactions, and the ability to pitch digital marketing solutions tailored for F&B businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and acquire new clients specifically in the F&B sector (restaurants, cafés, QSRs, cloud kitchens, catering businesses).
Develop and execute strategies to expand SocialGrade's presence in the F&B market.
Build a strong pipeline of high-quality leads using industry knowledge.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with owners, managers, and decision-makers in F&B businesses.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and digital marketing consultations tailored to F&B needs.
Understand client requirements such as menu marketing, aggregator management, food photography, customer retention, and loyalty programs.
Sales & Revenue Targets
Drive the full sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and agreements based on the F&B business's needs.
Industry Partnerships
Identify partnership opportunities with POS companies, food suppliers, event organizers, and hospitality influencers.
Build collaborations that help expand SocialGrade's reach.
Internal Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with creative, social media, and strategy teams for smooth project execution.
Provide detailed reports on sales pipeline, conversions, and market insights.
Share feedback to improve services for F&B clients.
Qualifications
Experience in the F&B industry is mandatory (restaurant marketing, sales for F&B, hospitality tech, aggregator management, POS sales, or related fields).
1–5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good understanding of digital marketing trends relevant to F&B businesses.
Ability to meet targets and work independently.
