Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer – Automation Testing located in Chennai. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining test scripts, analyzing test results, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. The QA Engineer will ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing automated tests
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar
  • Strong skills in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
