Sales & Operations Intern

Location: Bengaluru (Onsite)

Internship Duration: 3 Months (Internship with Intent to Hire)

The incumbent will be a core member of the Sales team, responsible for managing the complete sales lifecycle - from lead generation and qualification to closure and initial execution coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Lead Conversion

  2. Handle inbound and outbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, CRM, and direct interactions

  3. Qualify leads based on project scope, budget, timeline, and intent
  4. Build professional rapport and trust with customers
  5. Drive structured follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed projects
  6. Clearly communicate TatvaOps value proposition, process, and differentiation
  7. Address customer queries related to pricing, scope, and execution flow

  8. Sales-Led Coordination & Execution Readiness

  9. Coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders during quotation and negotiation stages

  10. Ensure all requirements, documents, and confirmations are in place before closure
  11. Support smooth transition from sales closure to project initiation
  12. Act as the single point of accountability from lead stage to project kick off

  13. Vendor Onboarding & Sales-Led Partner Coordination

  14. Identify, engage, and onboard service providers as part of the sales process

  15. Collect, verify, and maintain vendor details, documents, and basic credentials
  16. Assess vendor suitability based on category, pricing, availability, and service quality
  17. Act as the primary point of coordination between customers and vendors during pre-sales
  18. Facilitate quotation discussions, scope alignment, and negotiation support
  19. Ensure vendor readiness before project confirmation

This role requires sales professionals who can think beyond just closing and ensure readiness for execution.

  1. CRM, Funnel & Sales Operations

  2. Maintain accurate CRM records including lead status, follow-ups, and call logs

  3. Track funnel movement, conversion ratios, and drop-offs
  4. Prepare daily and weekly sales activity and performance reports
  5. Ensure all customer communication, quotations, and documents are properly recorded

  6. Field & Market Interaction

  7. Conduct site visits, vendor interactions, and client meetings as required

  8. Capture on-ground insights related to pricing, customer expectations, and competition
  9. Represent TatvaOps professionally in all external interactions

  10. Reporting, Feedback & Improvement

  11. Share daily updates on leads, follow-ups, and closures

  12. Participate in review meetings and sales discussions
  13. Provide structured feedback to improve sales scripts, processes, and customer experience
