We are seeking an experienced All-India Assistant Sales Manager to lead and support merchandising and demonstration activities across markets. This role is focused on driving product awareness, ensuring high-quality demonstrations, and enabling frontline teams to effectively communicate product value. You will play a key role in strengthening customer engagement, supporting sales channels, and maintaining consistent brand representation nationwide.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support merchandisers and demonstrators by delivering clear, engaging, and effective product demonstrations to internal teams and channel partners.
  • Ensure product knowledge excellence by training teams on features, usage, and basic troubleshooting to enhance customer confidence.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, addressing queries related to product usage, functionality, and common issues.
  • Respond to customer queries received through digital channels such as email and e-commerce seller platforms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with sales and service teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor demonstration quality and provide feedback to improve presentation standards and customer interaction.
  • Support sales initiatives by enabling demonstrators to highlight key differentiators and drive conversion at retail touchpoints.
  • Maintain basic reporting and coordination using tools such as Excel to track activities and outcomes.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You bring 4–8 years of hands-on experience in sales demonstrations, preferably within the home appliances or consumer durables segment.
  • You have strong verbal communication skills in English and can confidently engage with both internal teams and customers.
  • You are customer-focused, approachable, and capable of explaining technical products in a simple, practical manner.
  • You possess basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Excel, to support coordination and reporting needs.
  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic, field-oriented role that requires collaboration across teams and locations.
  • You demonstrate professionalism, patience, and a solutions-oriented mindset when handling customer interactions.
  • You are adaptable and willing to support nationwide operations while being based at a central office location.
