Rol Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, developing strategies to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products and services and smooth delivery.
  • Cost Management: Conduct cost analyses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage procurement budgets to achieve financial objectives.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop procedures to manage and mitigate risks within the supply chain and in purchasing activities.
  • Policy and Compliance: Implement and enforce procurement policies, ensuring all purchases comply with regulations and company standards.
  • Team Supervision: In larger organizations, supervise and manage a team of purchasing employees and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient supplies are available for uninterrupted operations.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers, internal departments, and management.
