Sales Manager, Building Materials
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all sales activities related to building materials. This role requires a professional with 5+ years of experience selling to a diverse client base, including dealers, architects, and B2B clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing strong client relationships, and expanding market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, architects, contractors, and corporate B2B clients. . Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and support.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure the team meets its targets.
- Market Development: Identify and penetrate new markets and customer segments. Organize and participate in industry trade shows, seminars, and events to promote products and build brand awareness.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage the departmental budget. Oversee sales forecasts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all building materials offered, including their technical specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role within the building materials industry.
- Demonstrated experience in selling to dealers, architects, and B2B clients.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
