Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to lead our procurement efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with suppliers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and optimal costs.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring excellent service and support.

  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and logistics.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement engineering or a similar role.

  • Proven track record of successful procurement projects and cost savings.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP, procurement platforms).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Knowledge of export industry-specific regulations and standards.
