Job Description – Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

Position:
Chief Sales Officer

Location:
Rohini, Delhi

Reports To:
Managing Director / Board of Directors

Experience Required:
20+ years in Sales & Business Development, with strong leadership exposure in the
Solar & Renewable Energy Industry

Role Overview

The CRO/CSO will serve as a
strategic growth leader
responsible for maximizing revenue, profitability, and market share across all Servotech business lines:

·      Channel & Distributor Sales

·      Government Tender & Institutional (GTI) Business

·      OEM Partnerships

·      International & Export Markets

·      EPC & Project Sales

·      Retail & Rooftop Solar Solutions

·      Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

·      Emerging digital/e-commerce channels

This is a
C-suite mandate
to build a high-performance sales engine, create scalable systems, and deliver Servotech's growth story at both national and international levels.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership

·      Define & execute revenue strategy aligned with Servotech's vision and Board expectations.

·      Represent sales at the C-suite & Board, providing data-driven insights and growth roadmaps.

·      Drive cross-vertical synergies to unlock new revenue pools and enhance profitability.

2. Business Ownership

·      Channel Sales → Build and scale distributor networks pan-India.

·      GTI/Tender → Lead end-to-end tender management, government projects, and PSU relationships.

·      OEM Alliances → Develop long-term partnerships with global manufacturers.

·      International Sales → Expand footprint in high-growth global markets.

·      EPC/Project Sales → Secure and deliver large-scale EPC projects in coordination with Ops.

·      BESS → Establish SPSL as a leader in C&I and utility-scale storage solutions.

·      Retail & E-Com → Grow Servotech's presence in retail and digital channels.

3. Team Leadership

·      Lead, mentor, and develop zonal, regional, and national sales leaders.

·      Build a
performance-driven, accountable, and succession-ready sales culture.

·      Establish Servotech Sales Academy with structured onboarding & bootcamps.

4. Market & Customer Development

·      Build CXO-level relationships with government, institutions, EPC players, and global partners.

·      Drive customer success, loyalty, and NPS to Fortune 500 standards.

·      Identify new growth opportunities in renewables, EV infra, and storage.

5. Revenue & Profitability

·      Deliver topline revenue & bottom-line profitability targets.

·      Optimize pricing, incentives, and resource allocation.

·      Institutionalize data-driven MIS dashboards, CRM systems, and revenue governance.

Key Qualifications

·      MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales (Engineering background preferred).

· years' leadership in Sales/Business Development within Solar/Renewable/Energy infra.

·      Proven record of scaling revenue across multiple geographies and verticals.

·      Expertise in channel sales, tendering, EPC, OEM alliances, exports, and storage solutions

·      Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

·      Visionary leader with ability to
drive transformation at scale

·      % Achievement of annual revenue & margin targets.
