Location: Subharti Medical College & Hospital, Meerut

Hospital Strength: 1010-bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital

Position Overview

We are seeking a committed and academically driven Assistant Professor in Community Medicine to join our faculty at Subharti Medical College, Meerut. The role involves teaching, training, field activities, and research, while also contributing to public health initiatives and community outreach programs.

Key Responsibilities

Teach and mentor MBBS students in Community Medicine through lectures, tutorials, and field demonstrations.

Supervise practical training in epidemiology, biostatistics, and public health research.

Conduct and oversee field visits, health surveys, and community outreach activities.

Guide students in family health studies, nutrition surveys, and immunization programs.

Engage in departmental research projects and encourage publications.

Ensure alignment with NMC curriculum guidelines and maintain academic excellence.

Participate in institutional academic programs, CMEs, and workshops.

Collaborate with government health authorities and NGOs for public health initiatives.

Eligibility

Qualification: MD/DNB in Community Medicine from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Senior Residency in Community Medicine (as per NMC norms).

Skills: Strong teaching ability, epidemiological knowledge, statistical analysis, community engagement, and research orientation.
