Role
: Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician (Remote Reporting)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely remote reporting of nuclear medicine studies (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, planar imaging) with clear, clinically actionable impressions and recommended follow-up.
  • Interpret oncologic, cardiology and neuro studies (FDG PET/CT, PSMA, DOTATATE, myocardial perfusion, thyroid and bone scans) and document findings according to standardised templates.
  • Operate cloud/PACS worklists, perform DICOM QA, and ensure secure transfer, storage and archiving of imaging data in compliance with data-protection policies.
  • Communicate findings and urgent results to referring clinicians, support MDTs remotely, and provide concise clinical correlation when requested.
  • Maintain reporting quality through peer review, audit participation and adherence to turnaround-time SLAs and SOPs.
  • Contribute to training, case discussions and periodic protocol optimisation to improve diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent specialist qualification) with active registration in India (NMC/State Medical Council).
  • Minimum 2–5 years post-qualification experience in nuclear medicine reporting, including hands-on PET/CT and SPECT/CT interpretation.
  • Proven experience with PACS/DICOM, cloud-based teleradiology platforms and structured reporting; strong clinical communication skills.

Preferred

  • Prior remote/teleradiology experience, oncology imaging focus, or exposure to high-volume reporting workflows.
  • Experience with radionuclide therapy (e.g., PRRT/177Lu workflows), radiopharmaceutical protocols and hybrid imaging QA.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted reading tools, quality-audit frameworks and multidisciplinary team (MDT) support.
