Location: Subharti Medical College & Hospital, Meerut
Hospital Strength: 1010-bedded multi-specialty teaching Hospital
Position Overview
We are inviting applications for Faculty and Senior Residents in Pulmonary Medicine (TB & Chest) to join our growing team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver clinical care, academic teaching, and research in one of the premier medical institutions in North India.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care for patients with respiratory diseases including tuberculosis, asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, pneumonia, lung cancer, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
Perform and supervise procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, lung biopsies, and pulmonary function testing (PFTs).
Manage inpatient, outpatient, and ICU patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
Collaborate with microbiology, pathology, and radiology departments for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Teach and mentor MBBS students, residents, and interns through lectures, ward teaching, and case-based discussions.
Contribute to research activities, academic publications, CMEs, and departmental development.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, NABH standards, and infection control policies.
Participate in community health initiatives, TB awareness, and national respiratory health programs.
Eligibility
Qualification: MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine / Respiratory Medicine / TB & Chest.
Experience: As per NMC norms for Faculty; PG-qualified doctors eligible for Senior Resident.
Skills: Strong clinical acumen in respiratory medicine, procedural competence, teaching ability, and research orientation.
