Job Description:

Aegis Logistics Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced finance professional to join its Treasury team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trade Finance operations, excellent understanding of banking instruments, and solid corporate finance exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all types of outward remittances: Form A1, A2, 15CA, 15CB.
  • Verify interest/commission charges on Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees (BG).
  • Review commercial terms in purchase contracts: delivery terms, taxes, payment terms, credit periods, duties, penalties, force majeure, arbitration, claim settlement, etc.
  • Manage LC establishment (Local & Import), including online LC applications via bank portals.
  • Monitor Working Capital Limits for LC issuance in coordination with internal teams.
  • Review Import & Export LCs and ensure they are workable under B2B arrangements.
  • Scrutinize import documents: Bill of Lading drafts, shipping certificates, certificates of origin, freight certificates, vendor invoices, packing lists, etc.
  • Arrange Buyer's/Suppliers Credit through banks/financial institutions.
  • Manage issuance of Bank Guarantees (BGs), Payment Guarantees, SBLCs, and other trade finance instruments.
  • Negotiate LC/BG drafts with internal stakeholders and banks to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Assist in developing standard language and improving the issuance process for financial instruments.
  • Support the integration of trade operations across business units while ensuring compliance with treasury policies.
  • Manage inward remittances, fund allocations, use of forward contracts, and IDPMS activities.
  • Handle banking relationships for day-to-day treasury operations.
  • Oversee monthly trade finance closings and reporting activities.
  • Prepare bank guarantees and coordinate communication with banks.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred for accounting entries.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBA (Finance) with 812 years of corporate trade finance experience.
  • Solid understanding of trade finance instruments, remittance processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in LC/BG issuance, credit arrangements, and treasury operations.
  • SAP exposure is preferred.
  • Corporate-side experience is a must
