Role Overview

We are looking for a
Finance Executive

to join our Finance & Controlling team. This full-time remote role focuses on financial reporting, data reconciliation, payroll preparation, and controlling functions to support the management team in Singapore and Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial data across multiple regions. This position is well-suited for someone who wants to grow into a controlling/FP&A profile rather than a purely accounting-focused career path.

Responsibilities

Controlling & Reporting

  • Consolidate financial data from different regions into weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Track and analyze budget vs. actuals, highlighting key variances and trends.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and provide insights to support business planning.
  • Develop and improve reporting templates and dashboards for better financial visibility.

Reconciliation & Data Integrity

  • Perform detailed reconciliations of client invoices, trainer payouts, and session records.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and transparency of all financial data.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.

Payroll Management

  • Prepare monthly payroll inputs for employees and trainers across India, Singapore, and Dubai.
  • Coordinate with local vendors to ensure compliance with regional payroll requirements.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely reporting.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Support external auditors, tax advisors, and compliance partners with necessary documentation.
  • Enhance internal controls and streamline financial workflows to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
  • Safeguard data confidentiality and maintain compliance with financial policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CA Inter, CMA, or MBA Finance preferred).
  • 3–6 years of experience in finance roles with exposure to reporting, reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup, managing deliverables and deadlines.
  • Experience with international payroll (Singapore CPF, UAE WPS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
