Aasai is a design and brand strategy studio that helps businesses craft purpose-driven brands through creative design, campaigns, and communication. We work across industries, handling projects ranging from branding and packaging to social media, marketing campaigns and collaterals.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an 
Operations Manager
 to oversee the smooth functioning of our studio. This person will be the 
bridge between our clients, designers and leadership
, ensuring that projects run efficiently, timelines are met and communication flows seamlessly. The role is crucial for maintaining organised operations, enabling the team to focus on specific functions.

This position is ideal for someone from a 
management or operations background
, preferably with experience in a creative studio or similar environment. Freshers with strong organisational, communication and multitasking skills are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Operations & Workflow Management:

  • Manage timelines for multiple projects across different verticals.
  • Create, maintain and optimise workflows for project execution.
  • Track progress and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on brief, and within scope.

2. Client Servicing & Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates and timelines.
  • Take ownership of new tasks, communicate requirements to the team and track execution.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by proactively addressing concerns and providing updates.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure that client feedback and approvals are implemented efficiently.

3. Team Coordination & Communication:

  • Act as a bridge between the studio leadership and the design team.
  • Facilitate clear communication regarding project priorities, tasks and deadlines.
  • Ensure that the team has the information and resources they need to execute work effectively.

4. Administrative & Routine Tasks:

  • Oversee day-to-day operational tasks, including scheduling, documentation and record-keeping.
  • Maintain organised systems for tracking projects, clients and internal processes.
  • Implement procedures that free up the founders and designers to focus on creative and high-value work.

5. Process Improvement:

  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in operations and project management.
  • Suggest and implement solutions for smoother workflows and better team efficiency.
  • Ensure that operational processes scale as the studio grows.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Management, Business Administration, Operations or related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in operations, project management or account management is a plus (studio experience preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong organisational, planning and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and capable of taking ownership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders (clients, team members, leadership).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, , Notion, etc.) is a plus.
