Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the senior accountants in their day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain general ledger and assist in monthly account reconciliation.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely entries.
  • Record financial transactions and update accounting records.
  • Assist with tax filings and preparation of relevant documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Support senior accountants with audits and financial reviews.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal and external audits.
  • Monitor and report on day-to-day financial operations.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
  • Good understanding of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Internship or prior experience in an accounting role is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9, ₹15,000.00 per month
