Job Description

Qualification:

  • Candidate must be from Ahmedabad location only.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemical or Any Manufacturing Industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase/Procurement of indirect materials, CAPEX, OPEX.
  • Sourcing the lab chemicals, solvents, lab ware, office commodities.
  • Getting quotations, making comparisons and processing orders based on the approvals.
  • Follow up with the supplier/transporter for the deliveries.
  • Coordinate with the respective departments like Plant/Stores/Finance for smooth transactions.
  • Maintain monthly/quarterly MIS for the Ordering status.
  • Prepare various reports in Excel/PPT for better presentation of the data to Management.
  • Managing and controlling all the companys external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase.
  • Responsible for cost effective and timely capital purchase.
  • Identification and new vendor development.
  • Purchase Planning and Control matching with the Production Planning.
  • To send enquiry to the vendors as per requirement.
  • Expedite quotations from the vendors.
  • Proper documentation record keeping of purchase orders and related documents.

Skills Required:

  • Must be very good in written & spoken communication in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Should have hands-on experience in presentation skills on Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Should be good in analysing the spend data & provide logical reasoning.
  • Should believe in self-motivation with a positive attitude.

Education:

  • Should graduate with qualification in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management.
  • Excellent understanding of Procurement Process and the current Best Practices in Chemical Industries.
