Assistant Manager Civil Billing

To oversee and manage all aspects of civil billing and quantity surveying for the construction of a warehouse facility, ensuring accurate cost estimation, timely billing, and compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Documentation

  • Prepare and verify RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills in accordance with project progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of measurements and quantities executed on site.
  • Ensure timely submission and certification of bills from clients and consultants.
  • Coordinate with accounts and finance teams for invoice processing and payment follow-ups.

Quantity Surveying

  • Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and assist in cost estimation and budgeting.
  • Monitor material consumption and reconcile with actual site execution.
  • Assist in rate analysis and cost control measures.

Contract & Compliance

  • Review contract documents and ensure billing aligns with contractual terms.
  • Support in preparing change orders, variation claims, and escalation statements.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors for billing and QS-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory norms.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborate with site engineers, procurement, and planning teams for billing inputs.
  • Generate periodic MIS reports on billing status, cost variance, and budget utilization.
  • Flag discrepancies and suggest corrective actions to minimize cost overruns.

Preferred Attributes

  • Min Experience of 5-6 yrs in Civil & structural Steel works
  • Experience in progress monitoring & quality is must.
  • Work experience with PMC would be added advantage
